During World War II , The United States and The Soviet Union fought together allies against the axis powers. The relationship between the two nations was a very tense one. American society did not treat the USSR like they were part of the national community and did not like their "rules" of their country. lead by Joseph Stalin. The USSR did not like American's because of their refusal to accept them as a legitimate part of the national community and their delay to become apart of World War II. This ending in millions of russiand being killed. America feared the Russians plans to control the world. This war was so hostile that they did not put one single country to blame for the cold war. everyone had an equal part in the blame.
