Korea was one country split in two with a huge difference in beliefs. They became enemies even if they were all in the same country there was a major separation. You were not allowed to cross over or you would get killed on spot. Every one cherished the leader who went by the name Kim jong-un who became leader after his father Kim Jong-Il had died. Every one looked up to him and thanked him for everything done in that country was all because of him. An American doctor came and gave 1,000 patients their vision back and was not thanked by one person but each and every one of them praised their leader. They kept to them selves and wanted no part of American's. they despised us.

The 1950's were not all that they are cracked up to be. The image of a family is not what it seemed. There was no such thing as a "perfect family". Now a days people think that there families and home life is messed up because they were taught to hat fanilies always got along and sat at the dinner table and had a big happy dinner full of laughter without difficulties. That's not the case nothing is perfect and nothing ever was perfect. We live in this world and we have a image of how we think it used me and how it should be but it was never that way from the start. they had it rough. woman were treated differently.. they were treated like what is known today as a stay at home mother. That was their way of life, to take care of the home and have children. They also had prearranged marriages there was no such thing as a journey to falling in love like there is today. The men worked hard to support the family and home but they also had full control over everything that their children and wife did. If you ask me, now a days is better than it was than. The truest statement out there is not everything is the way it seems.
